Having announced the start of an open tender, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, thereby, intends to attract as much innovative and advanced technology as possible to the country's agro-industrial sector.
This will provide an opportunity to improve the technologies used in modern agriculture of the state and increase its performance.
The Ministry emphasized that not every drone will be accepted into the technical park of the agro-industrial complex. In particular, such “drones” are required, which will be equipped with an irrigation system, as well as a video surveillance function.
In addition, the agency is awaiting applications from those drone manufacturers that equip their units with all the necessary slots for transferring information to external media, as well as advanced software.
It is noteworthy that the system spraying each drone should have an impressive carrying capacity - up to eleven liters and twenty-three kilograms. It is also important that the quadrocopter can transport any type of herbicide, insecticide, fertilizer and other chemical and biologically active substances.
Each dron must be equipped with a radar and special sensors that will protect the equipment from collision with obstacles.
