Employees of the Research Institute of the Food and Concentrate Industry at the Federal Research Center for Food Safety conducted a study of gastronomy, which is produced at the enterprise "Maheev".
The purpose of the audit was to establish whether the quality of food from "Maheev" meets the requirements that the organizers of the 60th mission of the International Space Station put forward. In other words, the company's products were investigated on whether it is suitable for sending into space as food for ISS employees. It is noted that for this mission have already received approval of more than ten names of food products, among which there are products of the company Makeev. We are talking about ketchup, horseradish, berry jams, mustard and even adjika.
The right to decide which products will go to outer space was assigned to the astronaut Alexander Skvortsov. It should be noted that food for astronauts must comply with all state requirements and be of the highest quality and nutritional value. Control over this is carried out by scientists of specialized industries. The administration of the company "Maheev" is proud that their products are so highly noted and intend to send to the ISS. The management of the company emphasizes that experts who perfectly know their job work in the company's production shops. That is why the quality of their products is appreciated not only within the planet Earth, but also, possibly, beyond its borders.
Note that the "Maheev" more than once put gastronomy on the table to the astronauts. It is reported that the products that were part of the diet of astronauts are no different from those that Russians purchase in stores.
