Next year, farmers of the Leningrad Region will receive generous subsidies. According to the chairman of the regional government, in 2019 more than 5.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the needs of agrarians of the Leningrad region.
“We are confident that this will help agricultural workers to occupy still undeveloped niches both in the domestic and foreign markets,” said Oleg Malashchenko, head of the government of the Leningrad Region.

We add that today the organizers of 21 promising and profitable investment projects are actively involved in the agro-industrial complex of the Leningrad Region. The total amount of subsidies allocated for the implementation of these projects. It amounts to 39 billion rubles. Meanwhile, the authorities of the Russian capital also provide support to farmers in their region. According to the Moscow government, 71.6 million rubles were allocated for the needs of agrarians of the Moscow region in 2018.
