As of October 7, 2019, Ukrainian farmers harvested corn for grain with more than 1.6 million tons with an average yield of 6.24 tons / ha.
Cereals and legumes were harvested from 11.8 million. The average yield is 4.22 tons / ha.
Farmers harvested such crops:
- buckwheat - 77.0 thousand tons from 58.0 thousand ha., Which is 87% of the forecast area with an average yield of 1.32 tons / ha .;
- millet - 144 thousand tons from 76 thousand ha, or 85% of the forecast area with an average yield of 1.89 tons / ha.
Sunflower was harvested from 4.9 million hectares, or 84% of the projected area, in the amount of 11.7 million tons of grain. The average yield is 2.37 tons / ha.
Soybean was harvested from an area of 1.1 million hectares, which is 69% of the forecasted area, in the amount of 2.6 million. The average yield was 2.37 tons / ha.
Sugar beets were harvested from 70 thousand hectares, which is 32% of the projected area, in the amount of 3.1 million tons. At the same time, the average yield is 44.70 tons / ha.
Ukrainian farmers continue to sow winter grains. 4.7 million hectares have already been sown. That is 65% of the forecast.
In particular, sown:
- winter wheat on 4.2 million hectares, or 68% of the forecast;
- winter rye on 92 thousand ha, or 67% of the forecast;
- winter barley on 419 thousand ha, or 246% of the forecast;
- winter rapeseed took 1.1 million hectares, or 96% of the forecast.
