Kiev officials and their colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina reached an agreement on the form of an international veterinary certificate for export deliveries of table eggs.
The Ukrainian poultry industry has a new market for selling table eggs abroad, as the government has completed negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina on this issue.
The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) reports that Ukraine and the authorized body of Bosnia and Herzegovina have agreed on the form of an international veterinary certificate for export of table eggs.Over the past two years, the Ukrainian poultry sector has expanded rapidly in Europe and some other parts of the world, such as the Middle East, with MHP being the largest producer and exporter of poultry in the country.
The State Fiscal Service reported that in the first three months of this year, poultry meat exports increased by 39% compared to the same period in 2018 to 103,600 tons. At the same time, according to its data, the volume of sales of these products abroad in monetary terms increased by 31%, to $ 146.9 million.In January-March 2019, poultry meat imports decreased by 0.5%, to 30,700 tons, in monetary terms, decreased by 6%, to $ 12.3 million.
