In the village of Kozin, Rozhischensky district, Volyn region, Ukrainian Potato Day was held. This was reported on the website of the Rozhischensky RSA.

The event was held on August 30 with the participation of domestic and foreign representatives of scientific institutions for the cultivation of potato varieties, breeding companies, potato processing enterprises and the supply of equipment for processing and storage of tubers, owners of private farms and farms.

Also, the Ukrainian Association of Potato Producers, the company "HZPC", the Ukrainian Institute of Potato NAAN, the company "Agritema", ZAO NPO Chernigovelitkartofel.

Congratulating those present on the start of work, a member of the Volyn Potato JC Anatoly Arshulik noted that approaches to growing potatoes have changed, and the requirements for product quality have grown significantly.

To be in demand in the market, it is also necessary to cooperate with breeding enterprises. Therefore, the organized event will contribute to the development of the potato industry as a whole.

Field Day began with a discussion of seed potato growing technology. The participants were shown various varieties of potato breeding company Europlant and partners. Field Day participants had the opportunity in the field to evaluate more than 20 varieties of potatoes.
