In Vinnitsa, the burning of leaves and dry grass will be stopped by the Municipal Police. Already, she monitors such cases and imposes a fine on the perpetrators in the amount of from 340 to 1700 UAH, according to the Vinnitsa City Council.
Special mobile groups will punish violators from March 18 this year. But even before the start of the project, the Municipal Police drafted 10 protocols on administrative violations.
For several years in a row in Vinnitsa explanatory work has been carried out among the population about the danger of burning leaves and branches. EcoVin employees take away fallen leaves along with garbage during the days dedicated to the removal of municipal solid waste from the private sector.
Residents of private homes can also use compost leaves. To do this, it is enough to dig a 1x1 m hole in the infield and store leaves in it. During the winter, they will rot and become a good fertilizer for the garden. In addition to leaves and dry grass, compost can also use household waste of organic origin. The rational use of organic waste in private households could significantly relieve the service for their removal.
Recall that on March 2, photos appeared on the network of the smoky Sabarov microdistrict. While firefighters rode on a call, local residents fought with fire. Last week, more than a hundred firefighters extinguished fires in ecosystems throughout the Vinnitsa region.
