In Ulyanovsk in honor of the Day of Russia this week held the festival "Milk Day-2019".
As part of the event, which was held nearby the Museum of Local Lore of the Ulyanovsk Region, guests of the festival were able to drink a total of about five hundred liters of milk, as well as feast on fifty liters of yogurt, consumed more than forty-five liters of koumiss and ate more than twenty-five kilograms of sour cream.
All this was made by the Ulyanovsk representatives of the dairy industry.
It will not be superfluous to note that in addition to the above products, the guests of the holiday also ate one hundred and fifteen kilograms of cheese from Ulyanovsk burenok milk and about eighteen kilograms of goat cheese, as well as eighty-five kilograms of ice cream and five kilograms of butter.
The number of cottage cheese eaten by the guests of the festival exceeded twenty-five kilograms.
Note that today dairy production is actively developing in the Ulyanovsk region. Such information was shared by Mikhail Semenkin, head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the region.
Moreover, the development concerns the objects of all forms of agriculture. The pace of development is one of the most impressive throughout the Russian Federation: annually in the region, about two investment projects related to the milk processing industry are implemented.
