The company "Clean Product" from the city of Dnipro is engaged in the selection of a new variety of garlic, which they plan to call Ukraine Number One, said the founder of the organization Sergey Parashchenko.

In 2018, the company's specialists have already launched on the international market a new variety of garlic called Irene, which has already declared itself to be of high commercial quality and has shown an advantage over other varieties. Now its employees are engaged in a new variety and are preparing it for registration.

In the matter of selection and seed production it is impossible to make stops, this is both science and creativity. Garlic of a new variety, which is still under development, has already been tested in India, along with other varieties of garlic bred by the company. Thus, the area of ​​the plant expands. So far, research is underway and it is impossible to say exactly how he will behave, the farmer said.The farm will study the new Ukraine Number One variety for several years. So far only managed to get his air. Tooth and odnozubka on an experimental garden bed did not work out. A good result will require about three more years of observation. If over the years a new variety yields good results, like Irene, they will register it and begin to cultivate it, but this path is very long, Sergey Parashchenko summed up.
