Analysts of the Russian market report that in the last week it has been demonstrating an active increase in the cost of strawberries. And today, Russian consumers are forced to give at least 230 rubles per kilogram packet of these berries, and 320 rubles as a maximum (in different regions of the country). This is fifteen percent more expensive than a week ago.

According to experts, the reason for the rise in price of strawberries (strawberries) should be sought in the climate.

After all, it was adverse weather conditions in certain (mainly southern) regions of the Russian Federation that influenced the fact that strawberry deliveries to retail outlets significantly decreased.

In addition, the increase in the cost of strawberries in many cases provoked an unquenchable demand among consumers for this product. The decrease in strawberry imports to Russia also played a role. It is noteworthy that this week the volume of deliveries from Turkey, as well as from Serbian strawberry fields, decreased.

But just such a strawberry was in demand among the Russian consumer because of its relatively low price. Today, strawberries of Egyptian origin are represented in abundance on the domestic market, for a kilogram of which you have to pay about 400 rubles.

As for the Armenian garden strawberry, which is also present in abundance on the Russian market, its cost reaches 500 rubles per kilo in individual outlets.
