The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev is confident that the country's agro-industrial complex in its current state is a real subject of pride in the arena of the state economy.

According to the prime minister, just recently, only a few years ago, the industry was in decline and was truly a depressed area of ​​the economy.

At the same time, the agrarians stubbornly moved towards a common goal - literally bit by bit they built a powerful agrarian power. And the government tried to provide maximum support to agricultural workers. As a result, Medvedev is sure that the agro-industrial complex has come out of depressed suspended animation and now demonstrates optimistic indicators and powerful potential. The task of modern Russian farmers is to unleash this potential to the maximum.

According to the prime minister, today we should focus on the country's food security and develop the role of the agricultural sector in the export industry. In this, Medvedev sees one of the key ways of developing the Russian economy.
