Agricultural producers of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug intend to significantly increase exports to the world market.
Their goal is to reach the figure of seven million dollars over the next five years in the process of selling abroad venison, deer skins, as well as fish products.
This information was shared with the general public by Viktor Yugay, who heads the regional department of the agro-industrial complex of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In addition, according to Yugai, the region has already begun to increase the rate of external shipments of these products - at least, sales of reindeer husbandry are increasing.
As for fish products, in this case, the district farmers plan to increase the foreign marketing rates of both raw fish and ready-to-eat fish preservation.
It will not be amiss to note that in order to achieve the declared sales amount of seven million US dollars, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug should increase the actual production of venison and fish by three times by 2024.
This was reported by representatives of the public relations department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
