• second - the press is used. Working parts - 2 plates with hexagonal protrusions, in which the necessary "cells" are formed.

Important! Comparing with rollers, the press does not differ in high productivity, and therefore it is better to use it for the manufacture of several wax sheets.

Features of the production of wax using rollers

This device consists of the following components: 2 engraved shafts, 2 gears, adjusting bolts and base.

The rollers are placed in a container with a separation solution. It is used to make the manufacturing process easier: in this way, softened wax will not stick to the protrusions, and only high-quality “pits” of the required shape will be formed on the sheet.

This solution is sold in specialized stores, but it can be made independently. For this you need: a liquid full of honey or a solution of 1 liter of water, 100 g of liquid soap without flavoring and 2 tsp. glycerin to form a thin layer on the surface of the wax with a smell that attracts bees.

The wax production process is as follows:

1. Wax leaf is placed in the bath.
2. This sheet is carefully pushed toward the gap between the rollers and guided into it.
3. The handle is turned away from you, and the rollers begin to rotate. Thanks to this process, the sheet will be completely placed in the gap and passed through it.

The advantages of homemade rollers

Hand rollers are the most convenient and practical, because their functioning does not require electricity. The clamps, which are supplied by the rollers and have a chain transmission, are mounted on the main frame, and therefore they are more reliable, compact, convenient to adjust and durable. Production in an independent way is a laborious and painstaking process, but it will cost much less than purchased equipment in a store.

• tube frame;
• U-shaped profile;
• threaded clamp;
• transmission chain.

Assembly technology

This process consists of the following steps:

1. Mounting the main frame, which can be performed by taking the frame from the pipe as a basis.
2. U-profile operation. A deforming part of the mechanism is placed on top of the open part of this component, which is then attached using a threaded clamp.
3. Operation of the transmission chain in order to assemble the mechanism.
4. Chain mounting on sprockets. After we pull it along the line and check, and also perform installation of the feed handle.
5. Production of rollers.
6. Fasten the rollers to the frames using rolling bearings.
