Employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor established a ban on the import into the Russian Federation of feed and feed additives for farm animals and birds made by Chinese manufacturers and registered in the Republic of Belarus.
It is reported that import restrictions entered into force on July 8, 2019. The experts of the supervisory authority emphasize that these measures were taken to stop any attempts to get potentially dangerous goods into the territory of the Russian Federation.
In particular, it is a question of the fact that feed additives upon receipt in Russia and provided that they are used for agricultural purposes can pose a significant threat to the epizootic situation of the country.
According to experts of the Rosselkhoznadzor, those feeds and feed additives of Chinese production for cattle and domestic birds that were imported into the territory of the Russian Federation prior to the entry into force of the decree on the ban on imports can remain in agricultural circulation until the deadline expires the suitability of this product.
It is important that the goods purchased before the ban be supplemented with documentation that confirms the date of manufacture of the feed and its receipt in circulation.
