Agricultural trainings on light and plant productivity were held in Saransk in September this year. Reflux Group of Companies, a leading developer and manufacturer of lighting equipment, organized the training.
The training gave an opportunity to gather representatives of the agronomic and engineering departments of various greenhouses. The chosen educational format is aimed at strengthening professional ties and, consequently, at increasing the productivity of greenhouse complexes.
Nevertheless, both engineers and agronomists, solving their specific tasks, often have a vague idea of what problems their colleagues may face. Photo culture helped unite the interests of all parties.
Hot discussions have raised questions of increasing the yield associated with photoculture and the peculiarities of growing various varieties under additional lighting. Participants also received practical recommendations on the effective use of sodium lamps.
During the training and discussions, the participants looked for answers to the following questions: how to achieve maximum productivity using the resources and capabilities of the greenhouse by 100%?
What needs to be improved in our own work in order to get closer to the records demonstrated by industry leaders (GK Maysky LLC, Kazan, GK Tolmachevsky LLC, Novosibirsk, GK Yaroslavsky LLC, Yaroslavl, State Unitary Enterprise RM Teplichnoe, Saransk)?
Presentations were made by the employees of Reflux LLC, as well as leading experts in the field of agronomy, sowing and plant biosecurity. As part of the training, a visit was organized to one of the leading greenhouse complexes, State Unitary Enterprise “PM Teplichnoye” and the Reflux-S plant, where participants could get acquainted with Reflux gas discharge lamps.
