Zdravko Tsyganovic, a farmer from Alilovac (Croatia), for thirty years of his activity for the first time reached a corn yield of more than 15 tons / ha.
In addition to harvesting almost 20 hectares. corn, he also sowed wheat on about 15 hectares.
“In previous years, I had good corn yields, but never had such a record. The abundance of rain and humidity in spring and early summer with timely agricultural technology yielded results, ”said Zdravko.
Zdravko is a producer that grows corn, wheat, soybeans, sunflowers and peas, as well as some other industrial plants. He owns modern technology, which he bought for his money.
The unusually warm weather for this time of the year allowed Zdravko and other producers to harvest autumn corn and sow cereals on time and without problems.
Harvesting corn ended in a celebration that was visited by relatives and friends of Zdravko Tsyganovich. Undoubtedly, this year will be remembered by Croatian producers of corn as an exceptionally fruitful one.
For information, the highest yield of corn was recorded in 2014 in France. It amounted to 180 c / ha.
