Representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Ryazan Region shared with the public information that the process of harvesting feed for cattle is in the active phase in the agricultural expanses of the region.
So, the farmers of the region have already managed to mow in areas with a total area of forty-four and a half thousand hectares. In this case, we are talking about both grasses sown in a natural way, and about crops planted with the help of farmers.
It is noteworthy that at the moment over sixteen and a half thousand tons of hay has already been harvested. As for stocks of haylage, its volumes today amount to about one hundred fifty eight thousand tons in the Ryazan region.
It will not be amiss to note that today each individual cattle in the region is already provided with a little more than five centners of feed. However, Ryazan agrarians do not intend to stop there. They plan to harvest at least twenty-eight centners for each cow.
We also note the leaders in the process of harvesting feed for representatives of cattle in the region. Among the leaders, the first place is still held by Skopinsky district, having slightly outstripped the farmers of Kasimovsky and Ryazhsky districts. This is followed by the old-timers and shipbuilders of hay and haylage.
