An unprecedented incident occurred this week in the Republic of Belarus in one of the local gardens, for a long time overshadowing the life of an agrarian from the Grodno region.
We are talking about a major theft of potatoes, which occurred on one of September nights, depriving the Belarusian farmer of six hundred kilograms of a high-quality crop of tubers of different varieties.
According to the agrarian, who turned to law enforcement officials for help with an official statement, the potatoes were taken directly from the beds.
“Three days before finding my fields empty, I arrived at the scene, everything was fine - the bushes were in place,” the farmer recalls. “And here I come again, and the field was dug up, and all the potatoes disappeared in an unknown direction.”
According to law enforcers, the attackers worked quickly and smoothly. Possessing sufficient professionalism, they dug potatoes using specialized agricultural equipment and took the tubers from the field in a large car.
According to preliminary data, the amount of damage caused by robbers to a potato grower is one hundred and fifty Belarusian rubles.
